Emma completed her studies at Victoria University of Wellington in 2015 and was admitted to the bar in 2017. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Criminology).
After university Emma worked at MBIE dealing with intellectual property disputes. She still enjoys this area of work today and has assisted with a number of copyright disputes in practice. Emma joined Corcoran French in September 2020 after working in a well-respected law firm in Timaru. She is part of the Family Law team and specialises in relationship property, contracting out agreements, parenting disputes, and Family Violence Act proceedings.
Outside of work Emma enjoys golfing, exploring new bars and restaurants, and walking her dog Mabel.
