Emma completed her studies at Victoria University of Wellington in 2015.  She was admitted to the bar in 2017. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Criminology). 

After university Emma worked at MBIE dealing with intellectual property disputes. She still enjoys this area of work today and has assisted with a number of copyright disputes in practice.  Following this, Emma worked for a well-respected law firm in Timaru. 

Emma joined Corcoran French in September 2020 as part of our family team, specialising in relationship property, contracting out agreements, parenting disputes, and Family Violence Act proceedings.  Emma is based in our Christchurch office.

Outside of work Emma enjoys golfing, exploring new bars and restaurants, and walking her dog Mabel.
