We are pleased to share an important leadership transition at Corcoran French.
Former Managing partner Rachael Robertson has handed over the reins to Mark Henderson. Rachael will continue as a valued Partner in our Commercial and Property team, where she will remain deeply involved with her clients, and with the firm’s ongoing success.
Rachael joined Corcoran French in 2002 and became a Partner in 2005. Her leadership as Managing Partner since 2020 has guided the firm through thoughtful growth, including the successful integration of Hannan & Seddon in Greymouth. With over three decades of legal experience across commercial law, property, trusts, and succession planning, Rachael is known for her practical wisdom, warmth, and unwavering commitment to her clients and colleagues.
Mark Henderson, who has stepped up into the managing partner role as of January, joined Corcoran French in 2004. Mark is a senior litigation Partner based in Christchurch and acts for clients there, across our Kaiapoi and Greymouth offices, and wider too. He has a wealth of experience in employment law, insurance, civil litigation, dispute resolution, and is widely respected for his calm leadership and client-first approach.
