Courtney Smythe

Courtney is a Senior Solicitor in our Kaiapoi office and works as part of our Kaiapoi commercial and conveyancing team.

Courtney started at Corcoran French in 2015 as part of our administration team part time after school, then as an office administrator while completing her degree. After graduating from the University of Canterbury in 2019, she was admitted to the bar in 2020.

Courtney's main areas of practice include commercial, property, refinancing, estate planning, wills, occupation right agreements and enduring power of attorney.

Outside of work, Courtney spends her free time going on adventures with her husband and two boys, renovating her house and meeting up with friends and family. With a young family Courtney is only in the office three days a week Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
