Shehan joined Corcoran French in 2014. Prior to this, he worked as an in-house counsel for a large nationally based company specialising in large scale acquisitions and disposals for major infrastructure projects.
His areas of expertise extend to commercial and business law, negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, rural law, subdivisions and property law. Shehan also acts for a range of clients including utility providers, companies, private individuals and trusts whilst also providing advice to a number of local authorities on a wide range of issues. As well as providing guidance, representation and assistance with negotiation for the acquisition and disposal of key infrastructure, he also represents landowners who are having their land acquired for public works.
Shehan’s ability to see the big picture whilst ensuring the details are well managed has led him to be a trusted adviser to his clients.
Shehan is married to Kate and they have four young children who he loves spending his spare time with. If he is given the opportunity, he will be found on the golf course or hunting.
