Delys Brough

Delys has over 20 years’ experience as a commercial and property lawyer. Delys joined Corcoran French in 2015 and is based in our Christchurch office. For the past few years, Delys has worked principally in our local government team.

As well as a law degree (with first class honours) from the University of Canterbury, Delys holds a Bachelor of Commerce (accounting major).

Delys started her legal career at a large Auckland law firm before moving to London to work as a solicitor in a specialist corporate finance team for four years. Upon returning to New Zealand, Delys worked as a senior solicitor in a corporate and commercial team at a leading Wellington law firm for three years before moving back to Canterbury and taking a break from the law to have her three children.

Outside of the office, Delys can often be found up in the hills biking or walking her Labrador Retrievers. Other favourite activities are water-skiing and snow-skiing with the kids or cheering on the sidelines as they play sport.
