Laurie Shearer

Laurie is a consultant at Corcoran French who works part time in our Family Team.

Laurie graduated from Otago University with bachelor's degrees in law and science and was admitted to the bar in Wellington in May 2001.

Laurie hails from Taranaki and has spent the majority of her legal career practising family and formerly employment law for the firm Govett Quilliam in New Plymouth.

Laurie specialises in relationship property work. She is resolution focussed and has a pragmatic and empathetic approach to resolving disputes.

Laurie has volunteered for a number of community organisations over the years. Currently she is the secretary and on the grants team for her daughter's high school rowing committee.

Outside of work Laurie enjoys travelling (she operates a travel business), hiking, pilates, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
